Arranging transport to and from the funeral

Vehicles are one of the things you’ll need to book straight away as the funeral date will depend on whether the vehicles you want are available. If you have something very specific in mind, please tell your funeral director straight away.

Hearse options

You’ll need to choose a hearse for your loved one to get from the chapel of rest to the funeral.

You can choose from our elegant Jaguar, our meticulously maintained vintage Daimler or a truly unique hearse from our long-standing network of specialist suppliers.

Use of one of our hearses is included in our fees as standard, and we can let you know the cost and availability of alternative hearses.

Family transport

You’ll also need to decide how you and the family will get to and from the funeral. Your funeral director will talk you through deciding what you need, such as who might need or want transport and how many cars you’ll need, but it may help you to think about:

• who will be travelling in the funeral cars
• whether you’d like to travel behind the hearse or go straight to the funeral
• transport for after the funeral
