Bereavement care and support

Grief affects us all differently. There’s no set path or timeline to follow. But there is lots of help available, and we are here to help you get the support you need.

We’re here whenever you need us

If you need support or reassurance over the coming weeks, you can call us at any time of day or night, there will always be someone to take your call.

What to do when somebody dies

As well as organising the funeral, there are other practical steps you will need to take following the death of a loved one. Our guide – What to do when somebody dies – explains each step to help you navigate these coming days and weeks.

Coping with the death of a loved one

Our support doesn’t end when the funeral does. There’s often much to do and process afterwards, and just as we’re here for you and your family in the planning process, we’re here for you afterwards too

Whilst we are happy to help as much as we can, we also know that sometimes our customers need a little more support. That’s why we provide free access to a national network of trained bereavement counsellors.
